A nasty Canadian I’ve never met
Neither have you, nor Trump, I’ll bet.
Yet he’s tariffed their goods and blocked their bridge,
Berated their leaders (they live in a fridge
That so depends on the USA
That if we weren’t here they’d have no place to stay.)
Perhaps we’ll acquire Greenland’s mass
Then we’ll have old Canada right in our grasp.
But if they’re so nasty, we’d better think straight:
Before making of Canada our fifty-first state.

I have spent a lot of time in Canada. My son was born there and spent 2 years there playing junior hockey. We love Canada and Canadians and always will.
Trump’s hatred has nothing to do with trade or geopolitics. It stems directly from Mark Carney completely upstaging Trump’s sorry ass at the last G7 meeting in Europe. Carney showed intelligence and class. Trump, who has neither intelligence nor class and never will, made a complete ass of himself and embarrassed America.
Not anymore, thanks to the psychopath.
