These ladies define “badass.” From their website: Rebecca & Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe are singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist sisters creating their own brand of Roots Rock ‘n’ Roll: gritty, soulful, and flavored by their southern heritage. Originally from Atlanta and currently living in Nashville, they are descendants of tortured artist and creative genius Edgar Allan Poe.
They look badass.
They rock. They do covers of songs that look as if they are shot in a bedroom using an iPhone, but they perform flawlessly and sound great.
They cover a wide range of musical genres.
They are fantastic musicians and vocalists.
… And they make it look easy.
So, you can see why I’m in love with them. Throwing caution to the winds I wrote them a message on their website “Would you consider going out with a 72 year-old Silverback living in Vermont?”
But, I hesitated before hitting the send button, when I thought of something that brought sweat to my brow and made my blood run cold.
What if they both answer “Yes”?
