The reason I create these audio essays is because humans (my primary audience) are wired for story. We love to hear them as much as we love to tell them. I find it so interesting that if I point s camera at somebody, I’m liable to get punched in the nose. But if I point a microphone at somebody, I can’t shut them up. Stories help us to define who we are; my job is to give people the opportunity to tell theirs.
