[Now I understand why people are so concerned about AI, because I’ve experienced firsthand how quickly it can get you into trouble.
It all started innocently enough, when a certain Silverbelle, who shall remain nameless, said “Don’t put me in Silverback Digest any more.” That’s more difficult than it sounds, because all Silverbacks have harems, or they’re really not Silverbacks. Moreover, you can’t produce a daily journal that explores the simian culture without occasionally referencing a significant other. But, being a dutiful ape, I came up with a solution: I’d use the powers of Artificial Intelligence to create a mythical Silverbelle who I would call “Liz” in reference/homage to Liziqi, the Chinese Vlogger/influencer already known to be a lady for who I have a great deal of respect and admiration. The original criteria have been lost to the “Delete” button, but I remember specifying that Silverbelle Liz be “older but still voluptuous,” just as is her real life counterpart (she-who-must-not-be-named). Here’s what came back at me:

These Silverbelles are all lovely, but maybe AI is being thrown off by the word “voluptuous.” Without wanting to get into body-shaming. Maybe these ladies could get a prescription for Ozempic:
Uh-oh … this is looking dangerous (but quite appealing). An unscrupulous gorilla might be tempted to see if AI can lose the bikini altogether.

Well, it’s a step in the right direction, but I think I better abandon Silverbelle Liz and see if Silverbelle Not-to-Be-Named might reconsider. If AI can get you in this much trouble in less than fifteen minutes in the office, think of what can happen with someone who has too much time on their hands!
