Mud Season Romance

[It is Mud Season in Vermont. After I lived in Vermont for a couple of years I decided that I was enough of an expert on the state that I started writing about it. (This phenomenon of “newcomer as self-appointed expert” is a consistent source of irritation to my wife, Silverbelle Sandy, who is a native Vermonter.) Nonetheless, I wrote this song about Mud Season that I think of as my magnum opus. I inflict it on any audience I have at this time of year. One memorable comment that I received on this song was about halfway through when someone asked “Doesn’t this song ever end?” SB SM]

  1. The Tale goes on…
And our on the road tale does too…amazing music in NOLA = Jumpin’Johhny Sansone, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, bass legend George Porter, Jr., great folks and food like nowhere else! On to much quieter, natural beauty of Dauphine Island, Alabama.
