In an interesting aside, his previous episode, “The Power of Strangers,” found a personal connection with SBs Mike and Cyndy of the Post Island Silverbacks. What I especially like about SB Steve’s works, besides his straightforward, mesmerizing delivery, is his appreciation of rabbit holes. In the “Sounds of the West,” for example, we’re introduced to a website (acousticatlas.org) and an author (Ivan Doig) that are rich and wonderful resources. I went to my Audible account and discovered that I had access, at no additional charge, to nearly all of Doig’s books.
