What Are Your Best Feelings in the World?
Here are a couple that pop into mind:
- Second bite into Thanksgiving dinner (Silverback Jack)
- Pulling the mulch back on a wet April morning and seeing the first green garlic shoots of the year
- A walk-off win by the Red Sox
- Hearing my granddaughter yell “PAPA!”
- The “ding” that signals it’s ok to get your carry-on luggage at the end of a flight
- Turning on the outdoor shower after a day in the garden
- Turning on the outdoor shower after a day at the beach
- Pssschttt!
- Saying “Alexa, play my favorites” to begin my Yoga session (Silverbelle Sandy)
- That new car smell
- Settling into the Adirondack chair to clean the freshly harvested basil for pesto
- Having your partner snuggle up for warmth
- Playing a guitar riff without screwing it up

The first few months with a new puppy
Every time I donate another pint of blood
Good ones! I especially like the one about donating blood, as my father was a lifelong employee of the American Red Cross. (I do have to question the one about the first few months with a new puppy, unless you really like chew marks on the furniture!)
*That laughter that breaks the tension or sadness

*ice water or ice tea
*Reading to relax
*That moment when eyes close, letting go,drifting off to sleep
*That hug or kiss feeling loved and loving
