Remem-boring

[I am celebrating Thanksgiving in Portland, OR with Silverbelle Sandy, my adult grandchildred (28 and 25), my step-son (not son of Step) and his new wife (They were married in May), and her family, whom I’ve not met. It’s West Coast wet and cloudy with some roses still in bloom, but the leaves on the ground, and everyone decked out in their rain gear. Let’s put it this way. This is a scenario I couldn’t have imagined on those boring Thanksgiving days in the 50s and 60s. It’s a redefined place and family, but it it IS place and family, and for that I give thanks. I hope Silverbacks everywhere are in their own personal Jungles, surrounded by loved ones, and feasting on leaves and bananas. SB SM]

  1. Evocative recollections of T Days of yore – for a kid a bore for sure. How many are sitting down to a virtual Tofurkey today?
Grateful for our fortunate life and Silverback fun, edification
    and friendship!
