Ina Gartner, The Barefoot Contessa, shows her approach to scrambled eggs. Really? Does anyone out there in The Jungle find this appealing or innovative? She adds Half & Half and two tablespoons of truffle butter to whole eggs, then takes a tiny bite of a corner of toast and pronounces them “perfect?” Why not just mainline lard? Ughhhh.

Fascinating post and videos. Coincidentally, I’m reading during our Blizzard while eating scrambled tofu, which is a tasty, healthy alternative to cholesterol-heavy eggs.
