Leon the Lobster

Note: Here are a couple of tips for getting the most out of Silverback Digest. If you receive email notifications of new posts, you should click on the title of the post, or the photo, to go to the full display. Otherwise, you are just seeing something that might be affected by your specific email program. Secondly, the same goes double if you are viewing on your phone. The format can be altered in sometimes very weird ways. Now … let’s get to Leon the Lobster.

[$37.18 is expensive for a lobster, but it’s pretty reasonable for a pet. I definitely found this a worthwhile use of 15:44 of my time, kind of a poor man’s My Octopus Teacher. Lobsters can have extremely long lifespans, so if you get captivate by Leon, you might be watching him for quite a while. SB SM]

  1. Very interesting and who ever thought of lobster rescuing? I did find myself admiring those claws, though. 🙂

  2. Lobster can live and reach weights of 50 lb. At 5 years of age, they reach a Ib. with no natural predators.
