[Silverbelle Stephanie lives just up Gilead Brook Road from The Parsonage with her husband Brett. She’s an artist and the world is her palette. She recently gave us a tour of their vegetable garden, an impressive display of over-abundance. The artwork is from her website. PS – It’s all for sale. SB SM]

She often incorporates trash into her art.
Stephanie Nyzio is originally from Massachusetts and now resides in Vermont. Her current work would be described as a union of things she holds dear and is very passionate about. The artist’s love for the natural world is expressed through a foundation of drawing and seeks to include sensitive environmental issues. Nyzio’s wish is to help the viewer to empathize with non-human living beings. Her work attempts through careful observation and meditative practice to capture wild beauty in a unique way. Hopefully these approaches will provide the viewer with a space for contemplation and to make small and big changes in the way they interact with the natural world.

The camera doesn’t do it justice. This flower, Lobelia cardinalis known as the Cardinal Flower, was transplanted and naturalized by Stephanie. It’s not a shade that I’ve ever seen in nature, except maybe under black light. It looks electric.
Here’s a selection of Stephanie’s artwork. Click on any image to see an enlarged view:
Here’s a photo (left) I took of SB Stephanie with her electric cardinal. A few days later, unsolicited, Google photos took a few liberties and regurgitated (needs some dramatic background music!): TA DA!
