You’re Invited!
[This was originally published during the Holiday Pandemic, 2020. Now, it’s three years later. That’s not going to stop us from doing our best to share the holiday spirit. I’m putting Silverback Digest on Holiday Hiatus for the twelve days of Christmas, but we invite you to share our family’s Christmas! SB SM]
We won’t accept being in isolation for the holidays, so we’re pulling out all the stops to make this the best-ever family Christmas. No expense spared. We’re gathering (virtually, of course) for the six days before and six days after Christmas. Join us to make the merry more merry. Best of all, we’re sparing you the stresses of crowded airports, the hassles of shopping, and the inconvenience of having to make small talk with that boring in-law.

Hannah is going to find us a fabulous place to stay in an exotic location, something big enough to accommodate all of us. Then she is going to suggest something fun to do every day.
What We Eat …
Sandy is going to come up with some delicious edibles. Sure, we’ll put on a few pounds, but that’s what the holidays are for! If you have a favorite, a suggestion, or a recipe, let her know.
What we listen to …
Jacob is going to come up with a dozen good things for us to listen to. Might there be a Christmas carol from Tony Kim?
What Makes Us Laugh …
Patrick, who else?, will find twelve ways to make us chuckle. Hopefully, he will keep it clean and in the holiday spirit.
What Keeps Us Amused …
Whitney will scour the worlds of film, literature, and media to recommend ways for us to entertain ourselves. You might have some good ideas to send her at campbell.whitney@gmail.com.
What Makes Us Family …
Stephen will provide a daily family album that reminds us why the holidays are so important and what Family is all about. This will be so much better if you share some images from your own family of origin.
